Rob White is executive vice president and chief financial officer for Marathon Oil Corporation. He was named to his current role in May 2024, after serving as vice president, controller and chief accounting officer since March 2022. Prior to that, he served as vice president of Internal Audit from April 2020 to March 2022.

Prior to 2020, Mr. White was director of operations planning with responsibility for unconventional development planning from 2018 to 2020, and director of central evaluation and financial planning with oversight of economic evaluation and strategic planning from 2014 to 2017. Since joining Marathon in 1991, Mr. White has served in a number of other roles of increasing responsibility and leadership in financial planning, domestic and international upstream accounting, project management planning, auditing, and downstream planning and accounting.

Mr. White holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University and is a licensed certified public accountant.
